Petromax 826 300cp ~1930

    Here is my oldest Petromax lantern, a Petromax 826 from round abaut 1930.
    It still has the old, one-piece carburetor with the service screw below the carburetor tube. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any markings on the bottom of the tank. Based on various catalogs, I assume that it was produced between 1928 and 1931.

    It does appears so.
    You have a very desirable lantern. Looks complete with all the original parts too.

    Does it also have this inner case screwed into the hood like @Piotrek showed ?

    No, the inner casing and the hood are not screwed together.

    I would have thought that both should be screwed together. At least it is so at my lanterns from that age.
