Hello, I purchased a Petromax 834 lamp from India. This is an older model, in original almost uncorroded condition. The only intervention is a new paint on the kerosene tank. My goal is to have a fully functional lamp for occasional use, which is prevented by a defective - oxidized carburetor nozzle. The question is - can you buy somewhere a new nozzle with a specification of 200 c.p. with an outer cone for manual needle cleaning? Thank you, Sincerely, Dan Bittner, Czech Republic. (sorry for my bad english, I use google translate)

Photo of the original steel corroded nozzle and ignition test - you can see the richness of the mixture and the fireball around the mantle. Is it possible to buy a new nozzle with a specification of 200 c.p. somewhere?

No you can not buy a new jet.
Why? Simply because they don't make this steel version anymore.
The thread is different so clean the original (?) jet and check if the filter is in situ.

I guess that there are some changes made. When I look up from my desk to my nos Px834 I see another lamp.
Did you check and clean the generator tube and for that matter all the tubes if they are clean ?

The Indian users where and are masters in converting anything into anything, so the idea that an Indian lamp is in "original" state is almost impossible ;-).

The brass pipes are cleaned, the filter is there. The photo shows that the mixture is too rich, the original nozzle is unfortunately corroded and has a larger opening after cleaning. I have no choice but to make a nozzle myself - or rather modify an ordinary brass nozzle from ebay (cut the thread and laser weld it to the other side so that the cleaning cone faces outwards - I already tried this option, see photo, but I only had a nozzle 300 CP and with that it is also a rich mixture)

I solved the jet problem on a spanish Focus 06 by applying a thin layer of silver solder and then drilling a new hole.

The last picture shows a blacked jet not completely in the vaporiser.
    Maybe there is some leakage.
