I have just bought this thing on ebay de. It looks a little ravaged and and buying it was a bit off a gamble I thought The price was reasonable so i bought it, and when I got it home, it turned out to be in very good condition, not a dent and no corrosion. The inner casing with mixing tube etc. is missing however, and the lamp has been sandblastet all over. I think I can restore the lamp to its former glory I knov that the tank is painted and the top is enamelled, but what about the main frame. Can anyone tell me if it is painted or enamelled. And by the way, does anyone of you have an inner casing, compkete with mixintube etc. for sale Kind regards Niels Chr.
Hi Niels, I was wondering who would buy that item. Now there's the answer... Here in the reference Gallery you can find some pics of how it should look like. The globe cage, cage rest and hood are enamelled dark green. The tank is lacquered in the same colour. The inner hood with mixing tube and burner are often missing. It's hard to get these parts. Maybe you can adapt something available to get it running. At the moment there is a turkish seller offering a PX 850 in good shape. BR, Martin
