    May be my Question is very basic , Please excuse

    Pressure Tank Made out of Which material ?
    Brass / Stainless Steel / Iron Tank

    1. So for I saw Pressure Lamp ( Petromax ) made out of full Brass material, ( including Hood)

    2. Recently purchased Primus 1082 Tank made out of Brass but Hood with Tin sheet.

    Any pressure lamp is coming with Iron Tank

    Please excuse with my chilly question

    The answer is yes, many pressure lamps and lanterns have steel tanks or are part steel and part brass and some of the Amish lamps and lanterns have stainless steel tanks.

    Tilley EX-100 lantern.

    @JEFF JOHNSON
    Thank you for the explanation

    So far I have collected Lamp tank are made out of brass only. Brass tank coated with chrome nickel plating. I hope the Tanks are coming in the following way

    1. Brass Tank coated chrome nickel plating
    2. Steel Tank coated chrome nickel plating
    Or Stainless steel Tank ?

    I think hoods are coming with Stainless Steel

    There are a lot of steel tank lanterns made in China and India. They tend to be the cheaper options with a lot of manufacturers. Very few lamps are made with Stainless steel. As far as I know only Coleman ever made a production lantern with SS which is model 202. The only other SS make is the Nite Hawk made for the Amish in the US and they are very expensive and not sold outside the US. I very much doubt any manufacturer would make a production lantern with stainless parts. There is no advantage in corrosion resistance and the steel is much more expensive and harder to work. SS would wear the tooling faster as well which would increase production costs. The only options are brass and steel for tanks and hoods although there were a few lamps made with aluminium globe cages and hoods but these are either older Coleman or rather uncommon European. It is wrong to say iron. That implies wrought or cast iron neither of which have ever been used for pressure lamps as far as I know.
