Hello guys, I'm kind of new to lanterns and very happy with myself for getting this old lantern to work again. Found in a tiny antique shop while driving through Nebraska just 3 weeks ago. I was looking for old camp stoves when this caught my eye. It looked old and in decent shape with a flawless shade and mica. The only clue to the maker was a tag that read Model L43S.A quick google search IDed it as a Preway made by Prentiss-Wabers in Wisconsin circa late 30's-early 40's.Sold by Montgomery Ward. The generator needed a heat and quench as it was clogged. It also needed a pump washer and a fuel cap gasket. Those I made myself. Here are some photos. Hope you enjoy them.
