Primus 1015 with Coleman shade

Hi! I got the time to go through this beauty. I think it suits the Coleman shade, I'm looking for the Primus shade but don't have the resources to buy the new made ones.

You might be able to sell the coleman one and then afford the primus one (or offer a swap ?). Or get a colman lamp to go with the shade

 

@Fireexit1 the shade come with a Coleman table lamp. Maybe i buy another Coleman shade and have 2 table lamps with similar shades.

And a Coleman repro shade is 3-4 times cheaper than the Primus repro shade

 

I know the feeling. Patience normally pays off as something will come along eventually ...

 

You're not the only one who has tried a Coleman shade on a 1015. Here is a photo of mine I took back in 2019. There's also a photo of it with the original shade to show that the Coleman shade doesn't look too bad.

 

Nice! I think also that the Coleman shade looks well on the Primus. Soon the Coleman will receive his they will be friends again

Neither looks out of place. I can imagine people buying one that worked rather than one made by the original maker. I picked up my Coleman shade on an Aladdin 23 lantern. The shade being much older and more valuable than the lantern ever will be.
