    It arrived from Sweden.

    When I received it, fuel was seeping out from various places in the tank, but I was able to repair it.

    The lantern had a nipple for a No. 119 lantern installed.
    Some people said that the No. 119 nipple could be used, so I tried repairing and using it as is.

    As a result, the lantern lit up, but it didn't achieve the dazzling brightness of a fully burned lantern.
    Therefore, I replaced it with the correct nipple listed in the parts list, and it achieved full combustion.

    I realized that the 300CP nipple is indeed not suitable for the 200CP No. 146 lantern.

    To enjoy No. 146 in the same way as No. 143, I tried attaching a glass part designed for the Coleman 200.

    4.jpg

    I liked the 143 shape more than I expected, so I also bought a balloon-shaped glass.
    The glass is a reproduction.

    Since it was difficult to refill the alcohol for preheating, I made my own external cup similar to the one used for the Ditmar 506.

    I created this to mimic the gesture of holding a wine glass in the right hand.

    I made the custom-made part detachable so that it wouldn't get in the way when attaching or detaching the hanger on the 146.

    As you all know, the Optimus No. 930 has a dedicated handle.
    However, unfortunately, the indoor No. 143 does not have a dedicated handle.

    So I made one myself using a $1 piece of wood and aluminum blocks and rods.

    My hands got tired from bending it in a vise and endlessly carving it by hand.

    If you just insert the rod from above, the lantern will fall out, so I came up with a structure that supports it from below at the same time.

    This makes it stable and easy to carry.

    While it's not a particularly necessary part in terms of practicality, I enjoy thinking up and creating things like this.

    No. 146 proved useful at the kerosene stove meeting held the other day.
    It's cute.

    Thank you for reading to the end.

    Hi @Camp numao
    Great presentation!
    I would never do these parts myself (to practical and lazy), but I would be overjoyed when accidentally finding such a treasure somewhere on the flea market. I appreciate custom mods/repairs a lot.
    Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

    all the best,
    Piotrek

    Nice lamp, but nothing else to expect from Radius :content:
    And I really like your ingenuity, and your craftsmanship.

    A nice touch!
    But it's actually more similar to the little funnels Lux used much earlier with some of their lamps.

    Like e.g. on the Lux CF, lid and all:
    lux.jpg

    Or the Sirius, even if you still had to take the "hat off", so to speak, on that one before being able to pour the meths;

    Thank you!
    I'm happy that everyone got to see it.

    @Piotrek

    Thank you. I'm glad you took a look.
    You have great crafting skills, so if you put your mind to it, you can make it right away.

    @Carlsson

    Thank you for letting me know.
    You're right! The lids are similar in shape.

    And I learned for the first time that lanterns with pre-installed funnels exist in Sweden as well.
    Swedish products are truly appealing.

    @Walkop

    Thank you.

    I enjoyed thinking about what shapes to make the surrounding parts while taking a bath.
