Some help needed on my restoration projects. Which is the seal to use between the deposit and the vaporizer...if at all?
The 1001s are leaking a bit when under pressure and that seems to be the problem. The blueprints on Fogas' website doesnt show that detail. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated

As far as I know the seal is lead. I've managed to adapt a lead seal for a Petromax lantern and it worked for me. Perhaps if you could show a picture it would help.

If it is the seal between the fitting on the tank and the lower vapouriser tube, then it is lead.
