    The SF., lanterns which have made in England stamped on them are scarce, so that is a very lucky find.:thumbup::thumbup:

    Looks like this one is not at all common. Another lucky find.

    From first post, in English;

    “Hello everyone, today I was able to buy this Sun Flame No. 106 in fair condition. I hope I can clean it well and that it works. But some parts are quite damaged. Regards”

    Use either electrolysis, citric acid or Evaporust to remove the rust from steel parts.

    You don’t need flame proof paint for the base plate. It is ok to use automobile paints from a rattle can, but let the paint cure for a week, or bake in the oven at 94°C for an hour after the paint dries.

    Italian to English Google Translate.

    Hello Leonardo, about to buy a Sun Flame, a 103, you'll find a little bit of strength, when you get to someone you need to go through the manual.

    Congratulations Italy, it's like new!!

    DeepL has a slightly different translation for the post of @Italo :

    "Hi Leonardo, I just bought a sun flame, a 103, I had a bit of luck, when it arrives if it helps anyone I will upload the manual."

    Your English is better than my Italian (and Google’s!).

    Cheers

    The particular Google Translate seems to appear interestingly cryptic, like the translation of some ancient texts, excerpts and verses :)

    Hello everyone, im sending you some photos of my 106 now in working conditions.
    I paint the base with automotive paint like Tony said and is working good.
    Some things are irreparable like the chrome of the tank or the label, but its working fine, good light and nothing of smell, best regards 20250526_131726.jpg 20250526_131726.jpg 20250526_131803.jpg 20250526_182037.jpg
