    Hi,
The Convention is over, we are back at home. I took a few images. It was the biggest Coleman Convention we went to so far. A great show.

    Enjoy:

Here are the images from Ed Erb's collection, from his museum and shop.
Please let me know if you have an idea about the "GENIOL made in Germany" generator which is pictured.

The Convention was held not far from Kidron, Ohio, so we spent a visit to famous Lehman's. They are huge and their shop decoration is unique.

The Convention. Some images from build-up and so on. Plenty of Coleman stuff.

Next year's Convention will be held in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

For health reasons, I will not publish any images of the auction.

    Erik

Great stuff [strike]but some names to faces and more detailed captions on the images would have made it even better!

Who's the beardy chap with the Coleman Arc?[/strike]
Sorry I asked, really, I am. Honestly, you've no idea...

I'm simply stunned, it's too much to take in.

    Hello Erik,

It was great meeting you and it's good to know that you made it home safe.

Picture number 1203 shows Fred Kuntz (mica globes) standing on the right and Craig Seabrook (glass globes) seated.

Picture 1191 shows Darcy ( shade lady), she also took the lead in getting the new Coleman book put together. I imagine quite a few copies are finding their way across the pond.

Picture 1307 shows the nicest piece of Tilley I saw at the meet, luckily it doesn't cost eBay pricing to hang in my garage.

    John,
Image 1203 shows Fred Kuntz standing to the right and Dick Sellers (left, sitting). He has a great collection - he contributed many images to the new book. Dick hosted the convention in 2011 in Tulsa, I put a collection of images over there:

Craig Seabrook is on image 1300.

    David,
I am reluctant to connect names with faces on the internet without the consent of the people pictured.
After all this is not facebook or something else.

From some I know they do not like to be shown online so I tried to avoid picturing them. Others do not bother about.

I think you refer to img 1293 with beardy chap with the Coleman Arc. The person at the very right is a collector of military stoves, sorry, i forgot the name, he just sat there talking to HRH Millioncandlepower Jerry Engbring (center) and his wife Pat.

No, it isn't FB - it's supposed to be something a bit more serious than that - a group of friendly, considerate individuals with a common interest and aim in mind. Obviously I've been deluding myself... ](*,)

    Hello David,

I tend to keep out of the camera's lens at functions like this, as you can see lighting stuff on fire gets me as giddy as a school girl.

I'll have questions on this one later.

    Hello George,

This was my first convention, the displays and sales tables were amazing but the best part was meeting people face to face. After hours, the campground was a constant source of both knowledge and entertainment.

As Erik mentioned the 2016 convention is being held next year in Las Cruces, NM. A fair distance from you, however 2017 is being hosted I believe in Massachusetts.

    Hi John,
It was great meeting you at the campground and that Tilley is just beautiful!!

I really enjoyed talking with you Erik and I am sorry that the parts sales didn't work out, but I was also happy that all the parts stayed together for awhile anyhow. A friend of the 2016 Convention host is now the proud owner of all the Petromax/Geniol parts. Thank you for the great photos too Erik!
