I have a King-Seeley-Thermos Model 8311 lantern that needs a globe. Is there a current lantern that uses the same-sized globe? Failing that, do any of you know what the manufacturer's number is for the original globe?

    Thanks.

Wrong lamp Karli. The 135 globe will fit the Thermos inverted do nut but Thermos 8311 is not one of those. There is one illustrated here http://tgmarsh.faculty.noctrl.edu/lantern/agmlantlater.html It uses a tapered globe rather like a Coleman 175. Thermos made a single and twin mantle version of this and I can't remember if the globes are the same or if a Coleman 175 globe will fit. Maybe one of our US friends will know. ::Neil::

    Sorry, sorry sorry

You can use a globe from a Coleman 275, but in the

height there is missing a little bit.

I have one at home, I will take a look

Here you can see a 275 globe in a Thermos

    Hope that helps
