For any Swedish people out there or any other collector I have a Radius 119 lantern and the plug where the Manno meter would go is missing with my standard SAE and or metric thread pitch gauges I’m coming up with an M1 thread but not the pitch does anybody happen to know the thread size and pitch and size of the plug please into way too many stores starting to pull out my hair LOL thank you
@Stovie21 I measured the thread on the plug for the manometer at 7mm dia and 0.9 pitch. Or 0.276” x 28.2 TPI I think if you can find/make a 9/32”x 28TPI thread it will fit. Other dimensions Overall length 9.7mm (0.381”) Thread length 5mm (0.197”) Bolt head 10mm (0.394”) across the flats
Yet again you save the day! I took my old beat up plug to a specialty tool store and the representative measured 7mmx1.0 metric but I wasn’t completely convinced due to tread wear and the lead gasket having become one with the plug , i need to melt it off but I also don’t know where to get a new one in here in America they are so afraid of lead it’s next to impossible to find lead sheet I have a couple little pieces that I was going to cut one out of any ideas for a lead gasket? Also do you happen to have one of the Manometers meters that fits it? Did it have a adapter to fit or did it fit right into that small thread? Appreciate all your help as always! Oh by the way I bought a quarter inch stainless steel rod and tap and die it was going to make a plug obviously it wouldn’t have a properly sized head on it but not sure what else to do
