Somewhere on here, I'm sure there will be a post detailing the dimensions of a Tilley draught shield but, currently, am unable to find the post. Would anyone oblige me?

I seem to recollect that someone used a tall, thin, "Jolly Green Giant" sweetcorn tin but, have been unable to find this size in my local shops. I wonder if the similar "Red Bull" (other energy drinks are available) would suffice?

Original Tilley R1 windshield I have is:

    164mm (6 1/2") long and 57mm (2 1/4") diameter; slot is 20mm (3/4" wide) and 130mm (5 1/8") long.

    Cheers

Thanks Graham and, Tony. I'll see what I can track down for a temporary replacement, and Tony, thanks for the PM. I've replied to you.

Watch out local retailers, there'll be a madman searching your shelves with a tape measure. However, I assure you I'm harmless really  :content:
