    Hello,

Really interested in picking up a Tilley floodlight or any paraffin/kerosene floodlight. Which model would be a good buy? And where could I pick one up from?

    Thanks,

    Ross

    Look for a Tilley FL6.

They are not too hard to get going, and you should be able to find one in the UK without too much effort.

    Hi @Roscoe

I agree with @Tony Press, go with an FL6. Try all the usual channels: eBay,Gumtree , junk/antique shops and car boot sales in the warmer months. They are big and easy to work on and most spares are readily available.

Good luck from across the border.

    Regards Jeremy

Ok, I'll keep my eye out for one. Unfortunately they're quite pricey :(. Currently working on a porkpie. Fairly new to all of this. Very pleased I found this forum, everyone is so helpful:)

Right on the border! Very close to the town of Diss.

    Thanks again,

    Ross
