I recently bought a reflector tor my PL53 but they were only available in white, has anyone ever spray painted one of these to match the brown hood ? Is it actually possible to paint them because of the heat issue or is it not possible as with the hoods ? What is the paint code for the brown to match the hood please ?

Ordinary paint will be fine. The reflector is too far away from the heat.

I don’t understand why these have been produced in white when they are for lamps with brown hoods

Not going to be much use as a reflector if the underside isn’t white so if it must be single colour then white it is!
