Tilley TL160 dismantling

    My friend in England wants to dismantle his Tilley TL160 to post it to me. He asks me if the column can be unscrewed from the fount. Can someone tell me this, please?

    It's probably a Tilley 106 and the column will not unscrew, it should still break down to a reasonable size for shipping as long as he keeps the glass
