Tilley vaporiser

What’s inside a Tilley vaporiser, is there a drawing anywhere I can look at ? I was changing one on an FL6 and noticed it rattled when shaken as did NOS one I was using as a replacement. Obviously I’m talking about with the cleaning wire removed

Is the spring, that sits on the cleaning wire, on the cleaning wire when you removed it or has the spring detached and is inside the vapouriser?

 

More likely to be one or both of the guides for the cleaning wire.

 

To compliment the patent drawing, these images are of an original type vapouriser with the brass fitting.
