Tilly Guardsman Washers and seals?

Hiya, I've got a 1955 tilly guardsman on the way and I will replace all the washers and seals etc, can you tell me if the Fettle box, Tilly washer kit Product Code: TILL498 - A-A3 is the right kit to get? I can get a kit for it off e-bay, but I would rather give the Fettle box the business. This will be my first Proper Fettle, any words of wisdom/guidance appreciated.

Depending on how many lanterns you have (they do tend to multiply!) you might consider getting whole punch set and some viton rubber sheet. It saves money on the long run and you can make specials if you need to.

 

I get mine from Base Camp.
He does me well on my paraffin objects, my steam engines, my minors lamps and stuff

 

The current SP1 service pack will have the wrong seals for the NRV and the cock. Tell base camp it is for guardsman or get the fettlebox one and you will be fine.
