Similar situation here except all I could get was a 100g tin. Couldn't get any bread flour though and still can't now. ](*,)

Great idea to make a starter! - now why didn't I think of that!](*,) Oh, it was because I've got 100 ******g grams of ******g yeast I can't ******g use! :rage:

I suppose I should post photographs of my attempts to make bread. We can all do with the laugh...  :D :D/

I doubt you'll find it in supermarkets until things have calmed down, but in our local Morrisons I was buying sacks of chapati flour for about £7 for 10KG, £4.50 when it's on a special and it makes excellent bread.

The shopper didn't get much sympathy here either.
The store manager on the other hand did get a lot of praise.

So the greedy **** has $10,000 worth of useless shit he can't sell. Serves him right. Maybe he should donate it to hospitals, old folks homes or the poor... but I bet he won't!

@David Shouksmith We've been using just normal flour for breadmaking, been working just fine.

Amazon and Ebay have been pretty good about pulling accounts and blocking people trying to price gouge during this catastrophe.

I'm not suggesting anyone actually do it, but if I learned that the guy was tarred and feathered for his lack of decency, it wouldn't bother me either.
