Yes, but only very slowly. The jet aperture is about 6 thou, 1 thou smaller than the gas tip on a Coleman 200A.

The air flow is hardly noticeable unless the end is immersed in paraffin in which case bubbles can be seen (water could be used, but I would worry about rust forming and blocking the tiny hole) Alternatively, assemble the vapouriser onto an empty tank and pump up. The air flow is not very noticeable but will disturb a match flame held nearby.
As above..the hole is very small indeed so you are unlikely to 'detect' simply by blowing, however, fit it back on to the tank, give it a good pump and you can 'feel' and 'hear' the air against your face and ear.
